Welcome to 'Mapping Global Media Policy'!

This website includes an evolving database on Global Media Policy (GMP), which can be accessed through the compass or the menu in the left column. In the future, the database will be a resource base for the development of visual maps and scientific analysis.

Mapping GMP allows us to identify actors, processes, outcomes and resources; foster access to relevant information; build and share new and existing knowledge; stimulate worldwide collaboration and enhance actors' capacities to intervene in policy settings, thus reducing barriers to meaningful participation.

A beta version of the website was launched in April 2010, and it will be further developed in May and June.
