Short Description / Abstract
Global Media Law was created to bring together media lawyers, academics, journalists, students and other practitioners and provide access to assistance, information, news, and resources on media law and policy matters worldwide. The site’s partners include the International Media Lawyers Association, the Programme in Comparative Media Law & Policy at the University of Oxford, the Center for Global Communication Studies at the Annenberg School for Communication, the Center for International Media Assistance at the National Endowment for Democracy, the Howard M. Squadron Program at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and the Center for Media and Communication Studies at Central European University (CEU), Budapest. This repository attempts to address policy stakeholders, researchers, scholars, and students. It contains a media law resource library, which includes an index of documents related to media law across a wide range of regions and topics.
