Short Description / Abstract
This project is designed to meet the following aims: to provide a space for sharing resources and information between lawyers working on media/freedom of expression cases; to provide links to organisations and information elsewhere on the web; to encourage and facilitate cross-country support, advice and mentoring between lawyers; to promote and assist in the development of regional media law groups; to provide a space for shared work, experiences and best practice in media law and freedom of expression cases; to encourage users to interact with each other and with the IBA by providing event information and resources that are of mutual interest; to inform members of news and events of potential interest; to create a virtual community which brings together media law practitioners all over the world.
