Mapping Media Policy Change in North Africa and the Middle East

Several participants in the Mapping Global Media Policy project are planning to develop a thematic section (or island) on the project platform regarding policy change in North Africa and the Middle East - a region that has seen major transformations and upheaval in recent months. We will gather information on current media laws, proposals for policy change, relevant organizations and institutions, and further resources.

Other thematic sections that are currently being created for the project platform concern:

Canadian Broadcasting Policy
Financing Public Service Broadcasting
Gender and Communication Policy
Community Media Policy

Data upload for the first two will commence soon.
