The section was created by students in the graduate seminar COMS-627 on Global Media Governance, offered by Prof. Marc Raboy at McGill University in winter 2011. Dendrogram - Provides a hierarchical overview of the island and lists as leafs on a tree whose branches are the profile types and categories. You can investigate the island by filtering for profiles’ level of action, thematic areas, specific themes and policy processes.
Network - Visualizes relations between the profiles that form an island. Profiles are displayed as colored nodes, and closely related nodes form clusters. You can visualize different types of relations: direct connections (collaborations, etc.), shared themes and common policy processes.
