Gender & Media
This section concerns Gender-oriented Communication Governance (GoC_Gov) understood as the set of governing arrangements that promote a social agenda for change based on gender equity in and through any form of mediated communication. The section has been initiated as part of a research project conducted at the University of Padova (2011-2013) and includes actors, documents and resources that pertain to GoC_Gov in a supra- and trans-national context.

Sunburst - Provides a hierarchical overview of the island and highlights its profiles according to their type and category. You can investigate the island by filtering for profiles’ level of action, thematic areas, specific themes and policy processes.
Dendrogram - Provides a hierarchical overview of the island and lists as leafs on a tree whose branches are the profile types and categories. You can investigate the island by filtering for profiles’ level of action, thematic areas, specific themes and policy processes.
Network - Visualizes relations between the profiles that form an island. Profiles are displayed as colored nodes, and closely related nodes form clusters. You can visualize different types of relations: direct connections (collaborations, etc.), shared themes and common policy processes.
Arc - Visualizes relations between the profiles that form an island. Profiles are displayed as colored nodes and links as circular arcs. You can visualize different types of relations: direct connections (collaborations, etc.), shared themes and common policy processes.
